Wedding Pics

I have posted this link on my Facebook page, but just in case we're not "real friends", here is the link to our AHH-MAZING wedding photographer (and friend!) Shane Shepherd's blog post from our wedding day. Safe to say I have looked at these pictures about 400 thousand times and cant wait to get the final lot! Thanks Shepherds.. you are awesome and then some!

Reeaaal quick post!

I am seriously about 4 hours away from jetsetting out of here, but I wanted to show you our favourite wedding present. Dave's, and now my little brother, Nick made this little package with an engraved padlock and key to lock to the Pont des Arts Bridge and throw the key in the river to lock our hearts together forever. We will treasure it always.

For now, its Au Revoir - Tout le meilleure! xo

Back on board

WELL, I got married on the weekend! It was truly the most amazing day of my life. The weather was great, the girls looked incredible, all of our hours and hours and hours of designing and crafting pulled off and both the ceremony and reception looked perfect. And Dave was absolutely gorgeous. I could not have asked for a better day - I am still slightly in shock that it was just so perfect!

So I figured right now would be a good time for me to get back on board the blog train. We are about to set off on our big Euro honeymoon adventure so hopefully ill be able to blog over there!! Thank you to all of our loved ones for making it the most incredible experience ever xo

Sunday, February 19, 2012

Oh hi!

I've had an amazing last few weeks. Big Day Out, Laneway Festival, illegal substances, housewarmings, Feist and Matt Corby, excessive amounts of vodka, dancing til all hours of the morning in random night clubs, midnight swimming and just generally spending good quality time with my crazy friends. Needless to say my Sunday's have been pretty low key and im currently basically dying. Here's what my Sunday involves today - wedding decorations and a new chair project.

Ps. Hi Tenille. You look like a lion.

My beautiful girl Bec just wrote this as part of a good old group 'reply to all' email to my girls:

You are all such special, intelligent and beautiful women and it is so lovely to have such an amazing group of friends to spend my time with. I love that we are not bitchy or clicky and that our friendships are all so easy. We can talk about the most banal things, complain about our boys (young and old ones!) discuss our work situations but also feel free to discuss more important matters and each have our own views but with total respect for each other. There is no dominant personality, we are all equal and I think we are the better for it! I am so proud of each and every one of you and love you all so much!

Ahhh I just had to share. Happy Friday! Rebecca I love you!

Happy New Year!

Oh hi! What a strange start to 2012. I have Shingles!! It sucks! Also, did you know planning a wedding is actually not fun? Who knew?! So although I started the year with the very best intentions to get organised for the wedding and work my ass off to PAY for said wedding.. I have spent the past week not doing much other than watching strange doco's on Losing Hair, Transgender 8 year olds and Polyamory (thank God for Foxtel).

I did manage to squeeze in one little project. I painted one side of our entrance grey and hung a print I have been trying to find a place for for a while. I also framed a cool t-shirt I bought in the States of the Obama Hope poster by Shepard Fairey, as seen in Exit Through the Gift Shop. Turned out pretty cool huh?

Anyways, hope to get a bit more or less into blogging this year.. Im not sure which one yet! I think I've reached the point I have to push it and get really involved or just say goodbye.. I'll think about it!

Happy 2012 to you all xo
