My sister

There is something completely unexplainable about the love for your sister. You are made from the same thing. With every inch of my heart I want her to just be happy - My little baby girl! I would do anything for you xx

Kitchen tea

I went to the most STUNNING kitchen tea on the weekend for my lovely friend Donna. I left my camera in the car not thinking I would need it, but just before I left I got a couple pics. They don't really show any of the day but it was a gorgeous sunny one. We sipped on punch and ate mini hamburgers and the garden was scattered with tissue paper flowers. So cute. I also met a girl there who was also oh-so-inspiring. I love that! I came home with a million new ideas flowing through my head..

One of my favourite things at the moment are flowers. I am borderline obsessed. I spend too much time at the plant store and I drive around the streets peering into peoples gardens to see if I can spot something gorgeous - I even snuck across the street with some scissors and stole these gorgeous pink things below! So for my amazing mum and dads 30th wedding anniversary I put together this little ensemble - how could anyone not love?!

Saturday lovin

Probably a tad sad I am blogging on a gorgeous Saturday arvo, but a quick post to show my lovely friend Kate and all of the millions of readers out there our dining table. An old mate of David's dad whipped it up for not much more than some spare tiles we had left over and probably a carton of beer. I believe his name is Les. We had nothing to do with the design but I honestly could not have designed anything more incredible myself. I am so in love with the variation of timber colours..

Anyways, have a nice weekend! xo

Where the Wild Things Are

Last night we watched Where the Wild things are and I have to say it was almost disturbing. Not only is it bizarre, it is incredibly sad. I have never read the children's book, nor knew much about the film so this made it probably even more of a shock. I found myself bawling my eyes out - the sadness of the main wild creature Carol was just so gut wrenching! The look on his face, just sadness in its truest form.

At one point I thought it had potential to be a movie for a kid to love, but half way through Dave turned to me and said "This isnt exactly a kids movie?". I think I might buy the book. Im not saying it was bad, I guess the fact I felt so much from it means it was a success, but Im still feeling quite odd about it. Just thought I'd share..

Tea + Toast

There's not too much more in this world I feel more passionate about than tea and toast.. small things!

My new favourite website

Last night at the pub sports bar I asked a few work mates to break the silence "Does anyone get into betting?" - A guy responded with "Bedding? Um.. actually, I found some amazing bedding online today - hit up and check out their amazing stuff!"

Yes the conversation was slightly awkward after that, but there is nothing awkward about the incredible bedding and other homewares on this website. I am particularly drawn to these sheets!

Circle 'Round

Ahh.. amazing. I'll take all three! Now on another note.. I believe I just heard Dave say "Want to go to Ikea to look at their filing cabinets?" WHOA!! Music to my ears! Ciao! x
