Christmas

One of the best things about Christmas is the the excuse to craft. I always have a bit of a wrapping theme, and this year I found a sheet of wrapping paper with the alphabet on it, so each recipient gets their initial on a little tag. I have selected a bunch of the cheapest ribbons I could find (come on Spotlight, $4.99 for 2.7m is a bit steep!) but I could have gone crazy in there!

I have been seeing tissue paper flowers around a bit this year so it was my aim to make a whole bunch and make a little garland to hang above the back bi fold door. Last night Dave and his also very masculine friend played around with the tissue paper with me trying to work out how on earth to make them for about an hour.. but we gave up and thankfully YouTube had our back. I could have sat there for hours making them, but this week is going to be a crazy busy one, I needed some sleep.

If I don't get on here again, have a truly amazing festive break. Love and laugh xo

Lucky

I've always liked little ornaments of elephants.. they are so sweet and I have often given them to friends who need a little luck in their lives. Yesterday I snapped this little guy up from the plant store for $3.95, I thought maybe with some luck it would help me from having a breakdown over the next couple of weeks!

Oh em gee

I havent posted in weeks! How busy is this time of year?? We've had something huge on every weekend, and drank ridiculous amounts of alcohol, and.. um.. Christmas is in 17 days! We are having lunch at our place for the first time and I havent even began to think about it (thank God for mothers - pretty sure she'll organise the whole thing). I am yet to buy a present and our brand-spanking-new-super-expensive-but-oh-so-life-like-xmas-tree is lacking decorations of any sort. I guess I better start getting organised..
